Count the Trees

Counting becomes part of exploring the natural world with Count the Trees. This interactive learning panel invites children and the adults learning alongside them to observe a woodland scene while practicing early counting, comparison, shape recognition, and descriptive language.

As children explore the trees and birds within the scene, they can count what they see, compare which trees are higher or lower, identify colors and shapes, and notice details they may recognize from the world around them. These simple observations create opportunities to build early math skills, vocabulary, and an appreciation for looking closely at nature.
