The Flowers

Flowers naturally invite a closer look. The Flowers encourages children and the adults learning alongside them to observe and compare differences in height, color, petals, stems, and other details found among familiar flowers.

As children explore the panel, they can practice counting, identify colors and parts of a flower, compare which flowers are taller or shorter, and build descriptive vocabulary through conversation. These simple observations help introduce early concepts of comparison and the variety found within the natural world.
