The Garden

A garden offers countless opportunities to notice, compare, count, and ask questions. The Garden invites children and the adults learning alongside them to explore familiar plants, tools, and other details found in a growing garden.

Through observation and conversation, children can explore size relationships, practice measuring and counting, identify colors and familiar objects, and build vocabulary connected to gardening and the natural world. A ruler incorporated into the panel also creates an approachable introduction to measurement, helping children connect numbers and size to the things they see around them.

Designed for babies through 2nd grade, The Garden supports shared learning experiences in children's libraries, early learning classrooms, schools, pediatric healthcare environments, museums, and other community spaces where curiosity and discovery are encouraged.
