Tractor Plowing

Tractor Plowing brings a familiar piece of farm equipment into motion, inviting children and the adults learning alongside them to explore how tractors help farmers work the land. The sliding tractor creates a hands-on way to introduce movement, direction, agriculture, and the activity happening within a farm landscape.

As children move the tractor across the field, conversations can grow around where food comes from, what farmers grow, the animals and crops found on farms, and the role machinery plays in agriculture. Moving the tractor forward and backward also reinforces directional language while encouraging observation, vocabulary building, and imaginative conversation about life on a farm.
